Arrowman of Achievement & Founder’s Award Nominations

November 20, 2013 by webadmin

Nominations are now being taken for two awards to be presented at Winter Banquet: Arrowman of Achievement and The Founder’s Award.  Nominations will close at 11:59 pm on Wednesday November 27, 2013.

Arrowman of Achievement
The Arrowman of Achievement was created 30 years ago to recognize arrowmen who go above and beyond what is an arrowman does. They constantly give of themselves and are an inspiration to those around them. Each year the Mitigwa Lodge awards 5 of these awards to deserving individuals.

Founder’s Award
The Founder’s Award, given by the national Order of the Arrow, was created to honor and recognize those Arrowmen who have given outstanding service to the lodge. The award is reserved for those Arrowmen who memorialze in their everday life, the spirit of achievement as described by founder E. Urner Goodman. The Lodge may petition the national Order of the Arrow to present up to three awards annually. If the Lodge presents more then one award, one must be to a youth under the age of 21.
